Bangalore Engineer Won Rs 10 lakh for Finding Facebook bug

Bagalore Engineer Won Rs 10 lakh for Finding Facebook bugBangalore Based Computer Engineer has won $15,000 from Social Networking Giant Facebook as a Prize Money for Reporting a Bug. The young engineer named Anand Prakash who has working at present at Flipkart, Won for identifying a bug in the log-in process of the Facebook media platform.

The 28 year old Anand Prakash said that he had found a bug in Facebook site which allows him easily to hack into any Facebook Account using relatively simple software without any facebook user interaction.Interestingly, this is not Anand ‘s first Prize from Reporting a bug. He’s earned nearly1Crore Rupees from Reporting bugs to various IT companies over the last 5 years.

He said that he has Rewarded around Rs1.2 crore Rupees just by Reporting bugs for Facebook Social Networking Site,Twitter and other US-based companies. Till now he had reported 90 Bugs for Facebook and 30 for Twitter Sites.Facebook has launched Bug Bounty Program in 2011 to Encourage people to report such security bugs found on their social media Sites.
