The latest update is that Bharathi Devi has filed a new
petition seeking Rs 50,000 per month from Anjali as a compensation for looking
after her day-to-day needs and other expenses to make her what she is Today.
The elderly woman now claims she has spent around Rs 70 lakhs on actress.Anjali
is native of Razole in East Godavari and also studied till 10th class here. She
was adopted by her aunt in the year 2000 and ever since then she was staying in
Chennai. All these years, Bharathi Devi took care of Anjali and it was through
her family friend & director Kalanjiyam she was introduced to the glamour
field.Before going into hiding, Anjali alleged that both her aunt and director
Kalanjiyam have been harassing her by treating her like an ATM machine. In
response, Bharathi Devi filed habeas corpus and Kalyanjiyam filed defamation
suit.
