Shruti Haasan has two releases (D-Day, Ramayya
Vastavaiya) in Bollywood Today and both the films have received positive
response from the movie lovers and critics. To cash on her newfound success,
leading production houses have immediately approached her to sign their films.
One among them happens to be the crazy project 'Gabbar' which is a remake of
Telugu hit 'Tagore'. While Akshay Kumar plays the lead, Telugu filmmaker Krish
will be wielding the megaphone and acclaimed director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is
going to produce it on his home banner.Initially, Tamanna was considered for
the female lead in 'Gabbar' but now she has to give away her offer to Shruti
Haasan. This isn't a good sign for the milky babe as it's the only project she
signed in Bollywood apart from recently released flick 'Himmatwala' which was a
disaster at the Box Office
