With the recent interview of
actress Roja, it came to light that she doesn't share a good rapport with
senior hero Venkatesh and they have deliberately avoided each other since
years."I have a very friendly relationship with Chiru, Balayya and Nag. But,
my relationship with Venky isn't that pleasant and we had a clash in the
past," she told.
Actually, Venkatesh was supposed to work under the direction of Roja's husband
Selvamani few years ago. However, the actor walked out of the project even
after the formal muhurat of the film for doing B Gopal's 'Chinnarayudu' which
is a remake of Tamil hit 'Chinna Gounder'. Selvamani was hurt with this
betrayal and couldn't recover for few months.Few months after this issue, Roja
signed the 'Pokkiri Raja' with Venkatesh and she was asked to be in Bangalore
for the re-shoot of a song bit. The shoot didn't went on for three days and
Roja packed her bags to be present for Selvamani's birthday in Chennai on
October 22nd. At that time, she received a call from the production house
asking her to attend the shoot and the actress said to them that nothing is
important to her than Selvmani, before leaving to Chennai. After this incident,
Roja wasn't seen in any of Venky's future projects.
