The producers of Toofan made a
big mistake by approaching the High Court to seek police protection for
ensuring a smooth release. They could have made more money by delaying the
release rather than by releasing on time Actually, Reliance Enterntainment has
insured the Telugu version Toofan. The makers could claim insurance if the film
released got affect due to natural calamities or agitations. As the film was
screened in several theatres across the state on September 6th despite poor turnout,
they can't get the insurance package and the negative talk for the content came
as an another big blow.
Routine story, weak screenplay, poor etching of characters and mediocre music
have played the spoilsport. It's already official that the film is a disaster
at the Box Office.
