Veerudokkade is a romantic action movie, which is high on
all masala elements and will impress Telugu film goers. Ajith Kumar's
electrifying performance is the main attraction in the film. Siva's engaging
narration, and funny and punch dialogues, Tamanna's glamour, Santhanam's comedy
timing, Devi Sri Prasad's music and background score,
Vetri's beautiful
picturisation and exotic locales are other positives of the movie. The predictable
plot in the second half is one big drawback of the film. In collaboration with
Bhoopati Raja, director Siva has penned an interesting story for Veerudokkade,
which is all about a straightforward man, who uses violence to settle disputes,
but he decides to mend his ways for the sake of his lover. Without hampering
the flow of the film, the director has nicely blended commercial elements like
romance, comedy, action, brother-mother-father sentiments and music.
Tough guy
Vinayagam (Ajith Kumar) is a vegetable wholesale dealer and is chronic bachelor
living with his four younger brothers (Bala, Vidharth, Suhail and Munish) in a
village. He falls in love with an architect student (Tamanna Bhatia), who
distances herself from him after seeing his violent nature. How he curbs down
his wild ways to have her in his life will form the crux of the story.
